Everything flows in the river of time. This river feels my physical and emotional memories, thoughts, emotions, sensations, and moments.
I cannot know where the river will take me. My freedom is given to me when I am conscious when I respond to any given situation.
The river has overlapping meeting points. During these moments, people and situations seem similar, and I wonder, “Why does this feel familiar?” These are moments when I have an opportunity to open up to a new pathway by speaking my courage to the truth.
My physical body experiences the truth as light and easy, doubt and lies as heavy and obscure.
I cannot find my way if I collect other people’s possessions along the river.
My magic lights the way in this river. If anyone can’t see my magic, that’s not my problem.
The stories I tell myself tell me who I am. This is false.
To navigate the uncertainties of the river, I remain firm with the world and tender with myself. Firm is not hard, and tender is not weak.
When I make a mistake, even if it has happened many times before, I forgive myself completely and ask how to respond differently the next time.
